Hello, I am an experienced editor, journalist and copywriter.
I've spent 15 years writing and editing for newspapers, magazines, websites and businesses. I edit a quarterly print magazine and produce content for brands, charities and agencies.

Having edited The Independent's digital arts section for many years, as a freelancer I have edited several print and digital titles. In 2018 I became editor of a literary magazine called Popshot Quarterly published by the Chelsea Magazine Company and I have been producing four issues per year ever since.
Popshot Quarterly features short stories, flash fiction and poetry by emerging writers and it is available in WHSmith's and bookshops. I have had the good fortune of commissioning writing by some of the top writers and poets working today, including Hollie McNish, Simon Armitage, Daisy Johnson, Don Paterson and many others.
In 2017 I worked as managing editor of BBC Earth magazine, writing commissioning and sub-editing features about the natural world for a print title launched in tandem with Sir David Attenborough's Earth II series on television.
From 2020 to 2022 I worked as a contract editor at Zoopla helping to redefine the property portal's approach to content for its consumer audiences, writing commissioning and editing articles for a digital guide to home buying and selling.
As a freelance editor, I continue to offer professional editing and development services to individuals and businesses, both for editorial projects and long and shorter form fiction.
